Materials & Construction
Every Glenn Furniture cabinet is built with time-tested joinery, export-grade materials, and premium hardware. From kiln-dried mahogany to full-depth backs and soft-close fittings, each detail is engineered for strength, stability, and long-term beauty.
- Wood: kiln-dried genuine mahogany (primary); optional teak for select parts on request
- Joinery: mortise & tenon/stile-and-rail doors, dovetailed drawers (on request), pocketed & doweled casework
- Boxes: furniture-grade plywood or solid framed carcasses, edge-banded and sealed
- Backs: full-depth backs for squareness and strength
- Hardware: premium soft-close (Blum/Titus/SamETC equivalents), concealed hinges, under-mount slides
- Standards: 3″ (76 mm) increments or fully custom; toe-kicks, scribe fillers, end panels as specified
Finishes
Our finishing process combines beauty with durability—whether you prefer the warmth of natural stains, the crisp look of painted surfaces, or specialty treatments like glazing or distressing. Every finish is sealed with professional-grade coatings for long-lasting protection in kitchens, baths, and beyond.
- Clear & tinted stains: natural, warm cherry, espresso, drifted/limed looks
- Painted systems: catalyzed lacquer/poly; white/black/green/grey popular options
- Specialties: hand-rubbed oil, wire-brushed grain, glazing, distressing, matte to high-gloss
- Sheen & protection: conversion varnish or 2K poly for moisture/heat resistance (ideal for kitchens & baths)
